GRAND LODGE SESSIONS

ODDFELLOWS' ORDER CISBORNE IN 1941 The next Grand Lodge sessions of the New Zealand Independent Order of Oddfellows will be held in Gisborne in 1941, according to telegraphic advice received by Mr. H. 11. De Costa to-day from Invercargill, where the present" sessions are being held. The Gisborne district is being represented in Invercargill by Bros. C. L. Havev and 11. Kennedy, P. G.s. Bro. H. Hunter, past district deputy grand master, received advice to-day that this post had been filled for the present term by Br. E. E. Somervell, P.G. The decision to fix Gisftorne as the location of the next sessions is an event of importance in friendly society circles in the district. The 1.0.0. F. sessions have never been held in Gisbcrne before, and approximately 50 delegates and many visitors will attend. .
