WORLD PEACE CALL
RENEWED BY POPE FRIEND OF RULERS (Reed. March 24, 1.50 p.m.) ROME, March 23. It is authoritatively stated that Pope Pius XII will renew the peace appeal to the heads of the European States and to President Roosevelt. The Pope, who is personally friendly with some of Europe's principal rulers and with Mr. Roosevelt, is believed to be formulating an appeal which will be transmitted 'by the nuncios and apostolic delegates in the various capitals.
