FLYING SAFETY LAWS

COMMITTEE’S PROPOSALS CONTROL TN BRITAIN (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 9 a.m. RUGBY, Mar. 22. The report of the Gorell committee on the control of flying recommends that the Air Minister should, in future, take cognisance of the amenities as well as the safety aspects of flying.

Other recommendations are that no increase in the existing number of aircraft used for -banner flying for advertising purposes should be permitted and that the licenses of those already operating should not be renewed beyond October 1941. The committee also suggested that the flight of certain aircraft over large cities and towns be prohibited in the interests of safety.
