LABOUR MEMBER PASSES

(Reed. March 23, 9 a.m.) LONDON, March 21. The death of the Labour member of the House of Commons for South Ayrshire, Mr. James Brown, has occurred. He was 70 years of age. He was the secretary of the Scottish Miners’ Union. He represented South Ayrshire in the Hen's from 1918 to 1931, and laterly from 1935.
