CATTLE AT MORRINSVILLE EAST COAST DRAFTS The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, report that an outstanding yarding of good quality cattle from the East Coast was penned at Morrinsville on Tuesday, but owing to the fact that most of the cattle had walked through they were not as forward in condition as usual, and prices were lower than at previous sales. Vendors met the market. Quotations: — Pauraiki Station.—Dehorned Hereford bullocks. £8 10s to £9 2s. Matahiia Station.—Three and a-half-year Polled Angus Bullocks, £8 4s to £8 His: 2J-year P.A. bullocks. £7 7s to £7 19s; smaller cattle, £0 9s to £7. Mauugatarata Station.—Four-year Polled Angus steers, £7 18s to £9 3s. Moko Moko Station.—Three and a- ! half-year dehorned Hereford bullocks, £7 18s to £8 Gs; 24-ycar., do., £6 14s to £7 12s. Tokomaru Bay.—-Two and a-half-year Polled Angus steers. £6 Is to £6 Jss; 18 months Polled Angus steers, £4 12s to £5 12s; smaller P.A. steers, £3 13s to £4 ss; 18 months Hereford steers, £3 5s to £4 3s; mixed coloured steers, £2 10s. EAST COAST CATTLE SALE AT MORRINSVILLE Values were lower at the Morrinsville Cattle Fair on Tuesday, when East Coast cattle were offered. There was a total clearance. The top price for Hie sale was £9 11s for a pen of Polled Angus cattle that had come from the East Coast, but. which had been in the Waikato for two or three weeks.
