TE PUI& SWIMMING SPORTS P.B. COMPETITORS DO WELL The annual sports of the Hautanoa Swimming Club were held in the Te Puia Hot Springs Bath on Saturday and drew large entries, There was a satisfactory attendance of the public and the carnival was carried out in ideal weather, conditions. A number of competitors from Gisborne took part and annexed the chief events. Two East Coast championships, the SOyds. and 100yds, were won by the Gisborne club swimmer, D. Lange. Owing to there being no entries, for the 50yds. women's East Coast championships this event was not competed for. The success of the function was due in large measure to the hard-working secretary, Mr, R. Jackson. Following are the results. — 33 l-3yds.
