taumarunui robbery MUNICIPAL CHAMBERS (P«r Press Association.) TAUMARUNUI, this day. The Taumarunui Borough Council chambers were burgled last night. The intruder prized open a locked drawer in the secretaire in the town clerk’s office, revealing a bunch of 3i duplicate keys. The strongroom and the inside safe were opened and all the cash Boxes were rifled. Sums ol £IOO in cash and £l6O in cheques were stolen. No clue was left.
