Fishing in New Zealand
High .praise for the fishing in New Zealand, which he said could not be obtained under as good conditions anywhere else in the world, was expressed by Colonel E. S. C. Willis, of Alderney, in the Channel Islands, who has been fishing ct Lake Taupo, and is now visiting Christchurch. He said that he did not think enough was heard about it in England, and he intended to iecommend New Zealand to his friends who were looking for good fishing. He found travel in New Zealand very comfortable and the people very obliging, but he considered that it would be a great help to tourists if it were possible to hire a motor car at Auckland and leave it in the South, to avoid having to take it back. When in Napier be sure to call at the “Home of Good Eats”—that s the “Trocadero”—Hastings Street. Open every Sunday.*
