HUNTETTE SOLD TEA FOR JOCTvHYS By "Trenton" Mr. W. Wilson has sold Huntette as a polo pony. This owner also sold his interest in Hunting Royal some time ago, and now has no horses in training. However, he will probably put Red Cockade in work shortly in preparation for winter racing. Piripi Schools Piripi gave a good exhibition over a round of hurdles on Saturday. Trainer H Martin is preparing a Commandant—Million colt for Mr. R. Biggar. He is a big, well-muscled sort and closely resembles his dam. i Refreshments Appreciated Jockeys riding at the recent Tolaga Bay and Ruatoria races were agreeably surprised when they were supplied with afternoon tea, fruit and soft drinks free. One rider remarked that they could have the same fare at metropolitan meetings—providing they paid for it. Related to Remittance Etzel, who was purchased in Hawke's Bay last month by Mr. O. Disley. Wellington, is a lour-year-old biow'n gelding by Siegfried from the Gainscoiirt mare Alimony, hence he is a full blood relative to Remittance, .a winner in Australia, and a threequarter blood relative to Mother-in-Law.
