CHILD GETS REPRIEVE
ATLANTA, Ga.. Jan. 20. Hortense Holmes, cancelling a rendezvous with death, played with her toys at a hospital to-day. The nine-year-old girl, blinded and partly paralysed by a brain abscess considered so dangerous that her funeral arrangements were made, will soon leave the hospital, fully recovered after a delicate operation.
