FAST OTAGO TIMES 440 AND THREE MILES (TVp Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. In a meeting staged by the Otago centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association last night. If. J. Tyrie won the 440 yards easily in 50sec., thus establishing a track record for the Caledonian grounds. L. Dickison won tire three miles in 14min. 53sec., only a second slower than W. A. C. Collar's Otago championship record. In the mile walk, the New Zealand champion, R. J. Watson, recorded the brilliant time of Gmin. 28sec., only 1 3-ssec. outside I. Driscoll’s New Zealand record.
