CHURCH APPOINTMENT

FORMER WAIROA RESIDENT The Rev, V. A. Bianc'hi, vicar of Waitara, has been appointed vicar of Frankton in succession to the late Rev. .R. J. Boyt. Born in England, Mr. 'Bianchi came to the Waiapu diocese in 1921 after his ordination. From 10/21 to 1924 Mr. Bianchi was curate at Wairoa, and' for the following four years was at St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral, Wellington. He was at Wanganui from 1928 to 1932, when he was appointed vicar of Paliiatua. He took up his position at Waitara in 1935.
