WORKERS' COMPENSATION

NEW REGULATIONS MADE TRANSFER OF PAYMENTS (Por Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Consolidation of the existing regulations under the Workers' Compensation Act are contained in the Workers' Compensation Rules, 1939, wihch were issued with the Gazette last night.

. These, in the main, contain regulations which are already in effect, but two new provisions are also included The first of these is the introduction of regulations which will give effect to the reciprocal arrangements which have been arrived at for the transfer of compensation moneys' from New Zealand for beneficiaries resident in the United Kingdom, and the British Dominions and vice versa, and the transfer from Britain or the other Dominions to New Zealand of funds for beneficiaries resident in New Zealand.

The other new provision contained in the regulations is the introduction of the procedure for the issue of inldrrogatories in 'connection with compensation claims in the Court of Arbitration.
