DECREASE IN NOVEMBER
RETAIL TRADE SALES (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 1 p.m. RUGBY, Dec. 30. The money value of the retail trade sales reported for November showed the first decrease recorded for the total trade since September of 1933. It amounted to 1.3 per cent, compared with November of 1937 and the decline was general, except in Scotland.
Retail trade employment was 0.4 per •tent greater than a year ago.
