DENIAL OF AGREEMENT
CURTAILING OF SUPPLY MEAT SENT TO BRITAIN' AUSTRAI JAN ATTITUDE (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Dec. 30, 12.20 p.m.) CANBERRA, Dec. 30. The Federal Minister of Commerce, Sir Earl Page, said that the Commonwealth Government had not agreed to any curtailment of the present exports* of mutton and lamb to Britain.
The Commonwealth Government had never concurred in the view that the imported supplies from Australia and New Zealand were adversely influencing the prices of the British home-grown product.
