REQUEST FOR EXEMPTION AMERICAN CITIZENS (Reed. Dec. 30, 11 a.m.) BERLIN, Dec. 29. The United States has sent a note to the German Foreign Office requesting an assurance that American citizens will be exempt from the German law prohibiting Jews from managing businesses.
