BORDER STRIFE
FRONTIER CLOSED POLISH-CZECH TENSION NESTS OF MACHINE-GUNS WARNING TO PRAGUE REPRISAL FOR BOMBING (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Dec. 30, 10 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 29. A message from Prague states that the Polish-Czech frontier at Teschen has been closed and machine-gun nesits have been placed along the border and the Polish Minister at Prague has warned the Czech Foreign Office that the Poles will in future expel 100 Czechs for every bomb thrown. The Prague correspondent of the Daily Telegraph learns that the Czech Government has-■ refused a German demand for the extradition of all German and Austrian emigres by the end of the year. A reason advanced for the refusal is that the summary execution of Peter Forster, the escaped prisoner who was sent back to Germany, was a breach of faith. The Czech Government, however, has advised emigres to leave by mid January, after which it will be impossible to guarantee their security in the event of fresh German demands.
