BIRTHDAY PARTY (Herald Correspondent.) lii order to celebrate the .sixth birthday of flier grandson, Oscar, Mrs. R. Lunn, Ruakituri, invited several of her friends and 'their children to the home of (Mrs. N. Stewart On Boxing Day. Mrs. Lunn was assisted bv Mrs. Stewa’T and Mrs. F. Stafford in entertaining the little guests. Those' .present were Mrs. R. lainn with Oscar, ‘Mrs. N. Stewarl with Jose, Kelsie and iMary, Mrs. F. Stafford with Joan, Mrs. M. Solomon (Tokomaru Bay), with Sam and Marie, Miss M. Moeau with Lewis. Mrs. iH. Williams with Maria and John Beauchamp. The young Maoris of (he district have decided to hold a function at Piahou on New Year’s Day, which is likely to become an annual gathering in (honour of the old people of the district.
