THEFT IN STOCKHOLM VALUED AT £20,000 (Reed. Dec. 29, 2.20 p.m.) STOCKHOLM, Dec. 28. Sweden’s most famous antique, the Vadstena Braktea, a golden ornament dating back to the year 400, has been stoleu from the Royal Historical Museum. It is valued at £20,000., It was dug up in 1587 at Vadstena, where Saint Brigitta founded a convent. The ornament is unique, it being the only one of its kind with an inscription in the Runic alphabet. It was removed overnight from the museum safe, which was not damaged.
