Carroll, of Tokomaru Bay. has been appointed Registrar of Dogs, for the County of Waiapu for the year 1939. Collars may be obtained from Mr. Carroll or from the County Ofliee, Te Puia Springs, Notice is also given that the Fees for the registration of Dogs for the year 1939 have been fixed as follows: For each dog kept solely for the purpose of herding or driving sheep or cattle, Two shillings and six pence. For every other dog, Ten shillings. Attention is also drawn to the provisions of the Dog Registration (Prevention of Hydatid Disease) Regulations, 1935, which provides that a supply of approved Hydatid remedy shall be provided to every person registering a dog; the fee for same being 1/- for each dog registered.
