JESSIE MATTHEWS

. AN INDISPOSITION LONDON, Nov. 3. The 8.8. C. announced last night that, owing to indisposition, Jessie Matthews will be unable to take part in “star-gazing,” the programme of which she was to be the subject next Tuesday and Wednesday. Her doctor has recommended that she should take a complete rest from all professional and public duties.

Mr. Sonnie Hale, Miss Matthews’ husband, said that her indisposition was not serious. “Her nerves have not been too good,” he added. “I think she will be well again in about a month.”
