VICTORIAN MURDERERS IMPRISONMENT FOR LIFE MELBOURNE, Dec. 22. The Victorian Cabinet has commuted to life imprisonment the death sentences passed on Herbert Jenner, aged 22, and Selwyn Wallace, aged 23, a traveller, for the murder of Frederick W. Sherry. . On September 1 bandits held up a motor-car in Collingwood and shot Mr. Sherry in an attempt to steal the payroll of the Sherry Shoe Company,, of Clifton Hill. In October Wallace and Jenner were charged with the murder.
