(Herald Corruspunduul.) Mr. and Mrs. A. Clements and Miss S. Walt, who have been residents of Te Karaka for the past four years, left this week to make their home in Gisborne. Miss Shirley Appleton is spending her vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Appleton, Te Karaka. Mr. and Mrs. A. V. Fleet, who left loi- Hawke's Bay on Monday, will reside in Waipawa. In the recent examinations conducted by the Associated Chambers of Commerce the following pupils of the Te Karaka District High School were successful:—Typewriting: Sheila I. Burgess, Ida R. Janet Rowe. Book-keeping: Ida R. Hodgo.
