The Cabinet has selected Mr. H. B. Dwyer, accountant of the Internal Affairs Department to proceed to England to attend the Imperial Defence College for 12 months. He is the first civilian officer from New Zealand to be selected for the course.

Mr. Dwyer, with his wife and family, will leave Wellington on Monday for Auckland to connect with the steamer.
