Special Planes for Napier
In addition to the scheduled runs between Gisborne and Napier, three special plane services will be conducted to-morrow by Union Airways, to cater lor the special traffic arising from the Christmas holidays. The specials, which will leave Gisborne at 5 a.m., 2.50 pan., and 0 p.m., already have excellent bookings, and it is expected that the few seats available in each of the specials will be disposed of before the respective hours of departure. The company is experiencing a substantial volume _ of patronage in connection with holiday traffic, in addition to the normal and satisfactory traffic which has been developed during the few months since Gisborne was linked with Palmerston North by air.
