CALF CLUB DISPLAY

DISTRICT PARADE 33 ANIMALS ON SHOW The first district calf club display in Poverty, Bay was held on the showgrounds to-day, when 33 calves were presented before the judge, Mr. Neil Carter, Whakatane. The display was opened during the morning by the Mayor, Mr. D. W. Coleman, M.P., and Mr. J. S. Wauchop, deputy chairman of the Hawke's Bay Education Board. The judge gave a demonstration on a cow, and later the children competed in a calf-judging competition.
