FRACTURE OF SKULL
GIRL NINE YEARS OLD

A fractured skull was suffered by Donella Souiiess, aged nine years, oi Mungaroa, when she fell from the .;.u:k of a lorry at the Mungaroa dairy factory shortly after 7 o'clock last night. She was taken to the Wellington Public Hospital by the free ambulance and was reported to be in a critical condition.
It is understood that she was playing on the back of the lorry when she slipped, clutching at one of the milk jans on the back as she fell. The can, .vhich weighed 1401 b, over-balanced and hit her on the head when she fell .o the ground.
