ZONING OF BOROUGH

PREPARATION OF PLANS COMMITTED To REPORT The proposal to prepare a zoning plan for the borough, is to be considered by a special committee set up by the Borough Council at last night's meeting. The Director of Housing Construction wrote asking tor a copy of the zoning plan in connection with the town planning scheme. The borough engineer, Mr. E. R. Thomas, stated that the civic survey map No. 1 had been completed, but the council had reached no decision yet for the completion of the zoning map, which would show the zones of commercial and residential areas. The Mayor, Mr. D. W. Coleman. M.P., said that the matter was one which the council had to face, and on his recommendation a committee was set up to deal with it. The committee appointed consisted of the Mayor and Crs. H. E. Maude, R. Morse. A. L. Singer and G. Bradley Smith.
