In a boxing bout of 12 rounds at the Sydney sports ground last night the American, Gus Lesncvich, at 12st. 51b., outpointed Ambrose Palmer 12st. 51b. The contest was lively with many exciting rallies, despite Palmer suffering a cut over an eye in Hie third round. Lesncvich hao Palmer in trouble in the concluding rounds.
