NO INCREASE PLANNED

INLAND AIR MAIL CHARGES

(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day

No increase in the general postage rate within the Dominion has been considered by the Government, said the Postmaster-General, the Hon. F. Jones, to-day, commenting on the reported intention to make an increase. Mr. Jones indicated that the inauguration of the trans-Tasman airmail service might have some -bearing on the airmail rate within the Dominion, but no readjustment in th'S respect will be considered until other questions concerning the service have been decided.
