EXCELLENT GAMES
o POLO AT BUSHMERE (Herald Correspondent.) Although the weather was somewhat changeable and wet, the field was in good condition fo.- the weekly polo games, at the Poverty Bay Polo Club's grounds at Bushmere on Saturday. There was a good attendance of players and some excellent games were played. Players present were G. Gaddum, S. Kirkpatrick, D. Reynolds, W. Gaddum, J. Jobson, B. McKenzie, T. Gaddum, D. Sherratt, H. Williams, W. Sherratt, R. Bruce and L. Walker, while the umpires were Messrs. Walker, J. Jobson, and S. Kirkpatrick. Afternoon tea was served by the lady members of the club. Among the spectators were Mesdames F. E. Gaddum, G. Gaddum, Hutchinson, J. Jobson, L. Jex-Blake, and Spicer; Misses B. McKenzie, Spicer, and B. Hutchinson.
