TENNIS DANCE
TOLAGA BAY FUNCTION
LEITH PARTY ATTENDS

The Reynolds Hall, Tolaga Bay, was the scene" of a most successful dance on Friday evening, organised by the Tennis Club. The floor was in perfect condition and the decorations were carried out on a lavish scale. The ceiling was testooned with streamers of orange and blue and green and gold, with large clusters of balloons in the same colours. Coloured lights were ellectively intermingled with the masses of greenery which screened the stage and the orchestra dais was arranged to represent a gun boat, complete with guns. A large party from 11.M.5. Leith attended the function. Music was provided by the Paikea Orchcstia and some delightful extras weic played by one of the officers from the Leith on the harmonica. A delicious supper was served, the tables looking most attractive with bowls of Iceland poppies, cornflowers and cherry-larkspur. Among those present were Mesdames J. W. G. Thornton, A. Donald, A.
