DEAD PILOT BLAMED
AIR LINER CRASH INSUFFICIENT ALTITUDE (Reed. Dec. 3,2 p.m.) OTTAWA, Dec. 2. The board of inquiry declares that the Regina air mail crash was due to an error of judgment by Pilot J. M. Imrie, who was killed with his co-pilot, Ralph Herald, by failing to to secure 1000 ft. altitude immediately after leaving Regina for Vancouver. The investigation revealed that the plane, after a quarter of a mile, hit the ground, rose 500 ft., and then crashed on its nose.
