AMERICAN CAPITAL “NO POLITICS” ADVOCATE WASHINGTON, Nov. 23. In a telegram to the United Press, Mr. Fish, a Republican member of theForeign Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives, urges that the visit of King George and Queen Elizabeth be. kept free of war propaganda and secret, treaties.
“It would be better to cancel the visit,” he says, “than that it should be Used as a smoke screen for establishing a military understanding, a naval alliance; or entering into agreements l'or concerted or parallel action to police and quarantine the world.
“I hope al‘l. partisanship will be set aside in extending a friendly welcome, but the time has come to serve notice on. all nationals that we,, pro - pose to, maintain a policy of neutrality, non-intervention and peace. If Sweden® Norway, Holland and Switz-. crland can keep out of the. .wahsi .of . Europe and Asia, we propose to do likewise.”
