CLERK LEAVES FORTUNE
DEATH WITHIN WEEK LONDON, Oct, 10. Caleb William King, aged 811, his white head held high above his deep “drain-pipe” collar, left the office where he had worked 67 years as solicitor’s clerk, went home to his wife in Hornsey, N.. and said, ''l’ve got the sack.” Within a week he was dead and his will revealed he had a fortune of £22.655. “He didn't really get the sack,”' his 84-year-old widow said yesterday, “but after he came home (hat. day he never seemed lo lift his head again.”
