Former Marist Students

“He is one of the many distinguished former pupils of the Marist Brothers’ College at Johannesburg ” said the Rev. Brother Borgia, director of Sacred Heart College, when referring to Wing-Commander jfueh W L. Saunders, the newly appointed Chief of Air Stall' of New Zealand, at an old boys’ function at the college yesterday. The speaker was referring at the time to former pupils of Sacred Heart and other Marist colleges who had gained distinction. Wing-Commander Saunders was not the only distinguished airman who had been educated by the Marist Brothers at Johannesburg, Brother Borgia added, as a former pupil of that college was for many years in a similar position in Egypt.
