LOCKE AT AUCKLAND

DEFEAT OF A. MURRAY TIB IX POUR-BALL GAME (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. Bobby D. Locke was partnered by E. J. Moss in a four-ball match against H. D. Brinsden and A. J. Murray at the Titirangi links yesterday. The game ended all square, Brin: den sinking a long putt at the last hole to make the honours even. In the final match of his tour Locke beat A. Murray at Middle.ici'a, two up.

PLANS FOR NZaT YEAR BRITAIN AND AMERICA (Per Press Association.) , AUCKLAND, this day. After his tour of the Dominion the South African golfer, Bobbie Locke, left to-day for Sydney. Locke will take part in the British open championship next year and he expects to later visit America to play in the "winter circuit." His present intentions are to come to Australia in 1940 and also to New Zealand to compete in the centenary championships.
