U Levvey, S.M., in a reserved decision delivered in the Magistrates Court to-dav dismissed charges brought against the manager and an employee of a motor firm. The police alleged that cars bearing demonstration plates had been used by employees for private purposes on Sundays. The magistrate said that as the law now "stood there was no offence, and there was not sufficient evidence to lustily a conviction. The evidence 'indicated that the firm allowed its staff to use cars bearing demonstration plates on Sundays to take friends out. .
