FRENCH CONVICTS FIGHT

TWO WIEN LOSE EYES EARS BITTEN OFF (Reed. Nov. 21, 2.20 p.m.) PARIS, Nov. 20. A shipment of 738 convicts on the island of St. Martiniere, who were due to sail for Guiana to-morrow, refused when paraded to-day to enter two tugs en route to lha convict ship La Martiniere. The convicts began lighting among themselves. The eyes of two men knocked out and oars of two others were bitten oil. Sixteen others also suffered injuries. Reinforcements were despatched from La Rochclle.
