GERMAN BARTER OFFER
DOUBTS IN RUMANIA CRIPPLING TO INDUSTRY (Reed. Nov. 3, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 2. The Bucharest correspondent of The Times says that a German trade delegation has arrived. It is understood that Germany is offering a barter agreement for the exchange of German manufactured goods against Rumanian oil and. agricultural products, but it is pointed out that such an arrangement would kill Rumania’s budding metallurgical and other industries and therefore it is unlikely that the arrangement will be accepted.
