COMPETITION KEEN CONTINENTAL BIDDING (Reed. Oct. 13, 10 a.m.) SYDNEY. Oct. 13. There was keen and widespread competition at the Sydney wool sales yesterday. The recent linn prices were well maintained for well grown free wools. Buying on French account was again a feature with good support fro.n Yorkshire, Germany. Belgium, and Japan. Greasy merino realised up to 17:|d. The offering consisted of 12,024 bales, of which 11,070 were sold at auction. Also 777 were sold privately.
