YOUNG FARMERS' FIELD DAY (Herald Correspondent.) The monthly meeting of the Nuhaka Young Farmers' Club, held recently, took the form of a field clay at the : rami of Mr. '!'. W. G. Tombleson, A demonstration on Polled Hereford cattle was given by Mr. Tombleson, who gave a brief outline of the history and characteristics of the breed, i e also gave a practical demonstration of throwing a cattle beast for the rAirpose of trimming their hoofs. Advice has been received by Mr. mid Mrs. A. Ramlose that their elder ■on, Mr. Hector Ramlose, has been sucI ceesiul in passing all tests, and has been accepted as a cadet in the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy. Mr. H. Ramlose is well known in Nuhaka.
