Canadian Schoolboys' Visit The likelihood of a visit to the Dominion by a party of Canadian schoolbays in 1940 is mentioned in a letter from the secretary of the Canadian National Council of Education, Major F. Ney. which has 'been received by the rector of the Waitaki Boys' High School, Mr. Frank Milner. The letter commended the results of the tour recently made to Canada by Waila.ri schoolboys, which. it was stated, created a very favourable impression. It was hoped to reciprocate with the dispatch of a Canadian party in New Zealand's centennial year.
