NEW STATE TIMBER MILL

Excellent progress is being made with the erection of a large state mill tor the supply of timber to railway workshops, which will shortly be in operation at Maroa, on the main Puta-ruru-Taupo highway between Atiamuri and Oruanui. At present there arc about 50 men employed erecting the mill buildings, which will include machinery of the most up-to-date type and capable of maintaining a large output daily.
