CENTENARY FUND PRESDYTERTAN ClU'KM'il (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The success of the centenary thanksgiving fund of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand is assured, said the Rev. G. H. Jupp, at a meeting of chairmen of congregations in the Wellington presbytery, who are working for the fund. lie knew nothing of. the progress of the fund in 10 presbyteries in the North Island and one in the South, but he was able to announce that, apart from these, at least £30,000 had been promised. Large amounts were expected to be raised in the North Island presbyteries not yet visited and, in one at least, £2OOO had been raised. Some time ago he was confident that when the General Assembly met in Dunedin next month, £150,000 would be in sight.
