SHOPS IN DARKNESS
A number of business premises in Victoria street, Hamilton's main thoroughfare, were plunged into darkness about B.HO on Friday night, during the height of the shopping rush, when a motor car driven by Mi'. Business was carried on with the aid of candles until the lights were restored just before closing time.
