OLYMPIC GAMES

FINLAND'S PLANS LONDON, Sept. 12. The Finnish Legation has announced that a huge sports stadium is being completed at Helsingfors for the 1940 Olympic Games. It includes nine football fields, which can be used for running tracks and held games, and several swimming pools. The whole area will be dominated by a modernistic tower, giving a view over the city. The Finns are already discussing the selection and training of their competitors, who will concentrate on new world long-distance records.
