A Manchester message states .tha the United States retained the Curti golf cup by 54 to 34 points by sweep ing five out of the six singles. Tiernan gained Britain’s lone mate point to-day by beating Orcutt, 2 an 1. Other scores were:, Vare defeate Walker, 2 and 1; Berg defeated An derson. one up; Page defeated Holn 6 and 5; Miiey defeated Coslett, 2 an 1; and Glutting defeated Baird, on up.
