RACING TAXATION

TURF CLUB MEETING £847 PAID TO THE STATE Taxation paid to the State by the Poverty Bay Turf Club following its steeplechase meeting last week will total £847 lis 4d. Totalisator duty will yield £382 Is 2d. From dividends, the State's proportion will be £417 12s.
