DOMINION APPOINTMENT
NAVAL STATION (iOMMANDER PANSHAWK (Eles. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.J LONDON, Aug. 3. Commander A. B. Fanshawe. deputy superintendent and assistant King's Harbourmaster at Portland dockyard, has been lent to the New Zealand Government for three years, the appointment to date from to-mor-row. He last served at sea as an executive officer in H.M.S. York, the flagship of the American station from 1934 to 1930. Previously lie commanded river gunboats in China, and destroyers and submarines in the Dardanelles in wartime. He will complete 32' years of service in the navy in September. REPLACING CAPT. OLIVER TERM OF THREE YEARS (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Commander A. B. Fanshawe, whoso appointment to the New Zealand naval station for three years is announced by cable to-day, will take the place of Captain R. D. Oliver, D.S.C., A.D.C., whose term expires in September. Captain Oliver was appointed to the New Zealand station in 183(i and is the second naval member of the Naval Board
